FLT (Flexible learning time)
FLT abbreviated for flexible learning time is a subject were we learn about a specific task and then we have the ability to research and learn more about it.
An example of this is what we were doing this term. We have been focusing on Adulting 101 where we learned all kinds of important skills to help us through our adult years.
Here's what we now know
- How to find the right flat
- How to pay bills and rent
- Getting a Job
To find the right flat is important but also deciding if you want flatmates is another big decision. Although it may seem like you won't have to pay as much that isn't always the case. Having boundaries and rules in place your fellow household is a good idea to cause less arguments and a more trustworthy friendship. Everyone needs to play their part by cleaning up, paying rent on time, helping buy food and most of all being respectful of others.
Same goes with a job. Respect your colleague and don't mess around, after all your getting paid to work and not slack off.
My next steps
My next steps for Adulting 101 would be to use all my new knowledge when the time comes and to inform others about flatting and job hunting.
